Santa Fe Advancing Affordable Housing and Livable Neighborhoods Advisory Group, one of the eight groups assembled by Mayor Alan Webber as part of his mayoral transition, will release its final recommendations at the\u00a0November 14th Santa Fe City Council Meeting.<\/p><p>The Advisory Group, co-chaired by Homewise CEO Mike Loftin and The Life Link Executive Director Carol Luna-Anderson, includes more than 20 Santa Fe business, community, financial,\u00a0philanthropic and non-profit leaders.<\/p><p>Throughout a rigorous six-month consensus process, the group examined Santa Fe\u2019s housing\u00a0challenges including<\/p><ul><li>Homelessness<\/li><li>Affordability and availability of rental housing<\/li><li>Accessibility and affordability of home ownership<\/li><li>Neighborhood support<\/li><\/ul><p>The group identified a variety of short-term and long-term strategies to address each challenge and will present its work to the Santa Fe City Council on November 14th.<\/p><p>\u201cThe work of this Advisory Group shows what can happen when dedicated Santa Feans come\u00a0 together to address a shared challenge,\u201d said Mike Loftin, CEO of Homewise and Advisory\u00a0Group Co-Chair. \u201cThe recommendations of the group are tangible, actionable and most of all,\u00a0transformational.
